Kirby's Dream Land (1992)
Game
Released
Kirby's round outline and simple enemies communicate the immediate situation with very little visual detail. Floating lets a new player correct a poor jump, while inhaling and spitting enemies creates a small, understandable set of decisions. The short main adventure suits someone who wants a complete journey without a large commitment. This original game predates Kirby's usual enemy-copying powers. That narrower toolkit is part of its clarity, although players expecting the later series' range of transformations may find it slight.
