Picross S9 (2023)

A picture puzzle stays where you left your attention, giving an interrupted trip a calmer task than a live action encounter. Button and touch controls offer different ways to work through the grids, while the rewind feature is useful when a contradiction appears after several deductions. The installed Switch release is meant here. It contains plenty of puzzles without relying on the extra puzzles unlocked by save data from other Picross games. Larger grids still require careful reading, so screen comfort matters more than the apparently simple presentation.
