The Rescue (2021)
Movie
Released
The 2018 Thai cave rescue becomes a problem whose apparent solutions each introduce another danger. Interviews and material gathered around the operation give the specialist divers personalities as well as functions in a plan. Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin make unfamiliar technical constraints legible, so each proposal changes your understanding of the options. Some underwater action is reconstructed; its immediacy should not be mistaken for an uninterrupted original recording.
