Slay the Spire (2019)

In the original game, card names, costs and written effects explain your options, while shaped intent icons and damage figures describe enemy plans. You can inspect a status or potion instead of identifying it from its colour. This makes the turn-based pace valuable: there is time to read before committing. Build around effects you understand rather than memorising card-frame colours, and expect some bosses to conceal intentions as a deliberate rule.
