The base game's 2025 cars give you repeatable circuits, practice programmes, assists and time trials for working on braking and exits. A controller is a valid starting point, with wheel support for a more involved setup. The paid 2026 Season Pack changes the cars and their systems; the Season Edition bundles it with the required base game. That is an extra purchase for existing owners, not a free roster update. Start with the season you own and keep assists consistent while comparing laps.
