Yomi 2 (2025)

A fighting game expressed through cards turns blocking, throwing and anticipating an attack into matters of judgement rather than motion inputs. Learning a character's options gives you a vocabulary for reading the person across the table. The full 2025 release supports synchronous and asynchronous opponents, so you can choose the pace before playing. Use the tutorial and one character first; removing execution does not remove match-up knowledge, hand management or the possibility of being convincingly bluffed.
