Both players plan a squad's next few seconds, test possible movements and commit before the orders unfold together. Winning depends on anticipating a doorway, a firing angle or an opponent's hesitation, without steering each soldier in real time. The planning tools still take learning, especially when a simulation tempts you to treat a guess as certainty. Choose the original PC game and arrange matches with a friend rather than buying it on the assumption of an instant public opponent.
