Selecting a phase means asking which action will help you and which phases other players are likely to provide anyway. Guess correctly and you get more from a hand of cards without doing anything faster. This digital version handles the accounting, leaving room to compare an engine-building plan with a quick scoring race. The dense icon language is the main early hurdle. Use the AI to learn it, then play a familiar opponent with enough time to discuss what each phase actually accomplished.
