Bad Sisters (2022)

The Garvey sisters' bond gives a darkly funny murder story something more substantial than a clever mechanism. Their loathing for an abusive brother-in-law turns ordinary family loyalty into a dangerous question of how far protection should go. Sharon Horgan's ensemble can move from ridiculous practical problems to real hurt without losing the thread. The first season is the strongest reason to choose it; do not mistake the comic tone for light subject matter.
