The original game offers a career and demolition events, giving a controller player several ways to enjoy its full-contact physics. Cars have convincing weight and damage, so some braking and mechanical sympathy still help. Its place here comes from the satisfying collisions and varied wrecking contests, rather than a claim that the driving is weightless or effortless.
