Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (2000)

A park becomes a network of possible lines once manuals let you carry a combo from one obstacle to the next. Short timed runs make trying a new route feel purposeful, with goals that encourage you to notice more than the largest ramp. The 2000 PS1 version is the choice here. The modern 1+2 package is a useful reinterpretation, but adds later moves such as reverts, so it does not reproduce the original scoring possibilities exactly. Give the old version time to teach its own rhythm.
