The Big Gundown (1967)
Movie
Released
A bounty hunter's pursuit of a Mexican man accused of a horrific crime gradually tests the certainty behind the chase. Lee Van Cleef's assurance and Tomas Milian's evasive energy give the Italian-Spanish production a gripping imbalance. The accusation is something to investigate, making this a particularly sharp western about whose account authority is prepared to believe.
