The Tracker (2002)
Movie
Released
An Aboriginal tracker leads three white men through country they depend on him to read, despite the authority they claim over him. Rolf de Heer's Australian western turns that imbalance into a quietly shifting pursuit. David Gulpilil's control of gesture and attention makes the film compelling, with racist violence giving the journey a harsh moral pressure.
