Firewatch (2016)

A radio voice can feel close while its owner remains physically far away. Delilah's filtered replies, gaps in conversation and the ordinary sounds of Henry walking through the forest make that contradiction the basis of a relationship. Listen to how a pause changes an exchange before treating every silence as an omen. The drama rests on conversation and uncertainty, with long stretches of walking; it is a different kind of attention from hunting an enemy by footsteps.
