Fallout 2 (1998)

Character skills and dialogue choices open markedly different ways through the wasteland, provided you survive an unforgiving opening. Learn action points and pick a combat skill before spreading points everywhere. The current GOG release includes SFALL and verified modern Windows support. Restoration projects add or alter content; leave those for a later run if you want to understand the released game first.
