Absorbing bullets of your own colour makes a threatening pattern become a resource. Once survival clicks, destroying enemies in same-colour groups of three gives another reason to repeat a stage. It needs movement, fire, polarity switching and the release attack, not an arcade cabinet. The PC release has replays and adjustable difficulty. Practise one chain at a time; a perfect full-game route is a much larger commitment.
