Astro Bot (2024)

Astro celebrates, recoils and throws himself into new abilities with the enthusiasm of a child testing a toy. The rescued bots extend that personality through little routines you can stop to watch in the hub. Team Asobi's Jamie Smith has described children's expressions of joy as an animation reference. It is a welcoming choice for noticing performance during ordinary play: you do not need to recognise every visiting PlayStation character to enjoy the physical comedy.
