Gris (2018)

Colour returning to a fragile world gives this compact platform adventure a satisfying emotional shape. The verified iPhone and iPad route is a paid app requiring iOS 10 or later. You are paying for the complete journey, not chapters released through a subscription. Touch movement works differently from a physical stick, so a supported controller is an option if platforming gets in the way. Choose it for a gentle, finite experience rather than a demanding combat system.
