Super Famicom: the elastic fishing line is an entire movement system. Hook a ledge, change the tension and use the resulting swing or rebound to reach a doorway that seemed impossible. Branching exits make the same small room worth studying from another angle. Its fresh idea is a tool whose behaviour you learn, rather than a succession of disposable upgrades. This is the 1994 original, not Shun, Fresh! or one of the later 3D entries.
