System Shock: Enhanced Edition (2015)

Mouselook and rebindable keyboard, mouse and joystick commands make the 1994 station much less intimidating to approach on a current PC. This specific Enhanced Edition preserves the original game's identity; the later System Shock remake is a different product. The old interface is still dense, with inventory, leaning, stance and cyberspace systems to learn. Choose it for a more workable route into that design, keeping the manual handy, rather than promising that modern controls have made it a conventional shooter.
