The new map, compass and collection information give a returning player more help remembering where Raziel has been, while modern camera control eases the introduction. You can switch presentation rather than having to abandon the older look altogether. These are remasters of the two Soul Reaver games, with bonus material rather than a restored playable ending for the first. Block puzzles, backtracking and some awkward jumps remain; the map is useful orientation, not a turn-by-turn answer to the entire adventure.
