Metroid Prime Remastered (2023)

Dual-stick movement and aiming remove a major obstacle when introducing the GameCube adventure to someone used to modern first-person games. Gyro can be added, and alternative control styles remain available. This is the Switch remaster of the first Prime, not a package containing the whole trilogy. The interconnected world, scanning and save-station structure still ask for patience; better controls make Samus easier to inhabit without turning exploration into a corridor of checkpoints.
