A Christmas game at Camelot creates an obligation that Gawain must answer a year later. That seasonal cycle gives David Lowery's eerie Arthurian journey its deadline and its reckoning. Dev Patel makes uncertainty more interesting than swagger, while the landscapes turn the familiar idea of a festive visitor into something magnificent and disturbing. Choose it for a meditative fantasy detour, with nudity and unsettling imagery rather than conventional Christmas comfort.
