Into the Breach (2018)

A whole battlefield fits on one compact isometric board, with enemy attacks marked before you act. That makes this mech strategy game a good route to tense decisions without sweeping around a 3D battlefield. On PC, switch off screen shake in the options. Attacks and creatures still animate, but planning your turn does not require continuous camera movement.
