Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (2024)

Capcom reported sales below its plan for this striking action-and-defence hybrid. The reason to look again is how daytime preparation and night-time battles connect: assign villagers roles, prepare a route and personally fight to protect the procession. Its miniature-like villages and ritual movement give that planning a distinctive atmosphere. Repeated defence rounds suit someone interested in refining a plan more than collecting an expansive world.
