Don't Nod's reported sales disappointment does not explain the value of its ghost stories. Each haunting asks you to investigate a relationship and decide what should happen to the people entangled in it, while the central couple gives those judgements personal weight. It is strongest when listening, investigating and weighing a choice. The action RPG framework also brings lengthy travel and repeated fights, so expect a substantial campaign around those intimate cases.
