Gris (2018)

Berlinist's score moves between intimate piano, swelling voices and larger cinematic passages, matching the platformer's gradual return of colour. Windmill and Komorebi are good places to linger before following the album's full sequence. The longer pieces have enough shape to hold attention independently of the watercolour images. Choose it for an emotionally expressive listen where the spaces between musical peaks are part of the pleasure.
