Hades (2020)

Darren Korb's score combines sharp-edged strings, driving percussion and heavy guitars for the underworld escape runs. Out of Tartarus gives you the attack; Good Riddance, with Ashley Barrett, reveals the tenderness that makes the wider album more than a combat playlist. Extended track lengths let musical sections breathe outside the game's fights. This is the original Hades soundtrack, with Hades II a separate score.
