Ori and the Blind Forest (2015)

Flowing orchestral writing makes the forest feel alive, while Aeralie Brighton's vocals give Gareth Coker's main theme a vulnerable centre. First Steps Into Sunken Glades and The Waters Cleansed show how much there is beyond the familiar opening of this platformer. On the 2015 original album, quieter exploration makes the urgent passages more effective. The Definitive Edition's additional music has its own release.
