Braid: Anniversary Edition (2024)

David Hellman's repainted scenery combines visible brushwork with backgrounds that continue to flow while you work out a route. Rewinding time changes movement within those scenes, making the platformer's picture and puzzle unusually closely linked. Choose the Anniversary Edition for the revised art and animation, and use its original-graphics switch to compare the approaches. The puzzles can be demanding even when the painted world looks inviting.
