Into the Breach (2018)

The clearest expression of this list's priorities: enemy intentions are visible, yet deciding what to save is rarely comfortable. Pushing an attacker can protect a building, create a collision or sacrifice a better position next turn. Its short, repeatable runs reward adapting to a squad and the available upgrades. Free Advanced Edition content broadens the options, but the small board and limited action budget already make each turn unusually consequential.
