Battle Brothers (2017)

A mercenary company's next contract is a decision about money, injuries, equipment and the people you might lose. Hex-based battles connect directly to that fragile business, so retreat can be a better strategic answer than a costly victory. The sandbox campaign is the reason to choose it repeatedly. It is severe and sometimes unlucky, with important enemy knowledge that a new commander will need to acquire.
