The Ballad of Wallis Island (2025)
Movie
Released
A private concert on a small island makes an awkward patron's enthusiasm impossible for the visiting musicians to escape. Tim Key and Tom Basden let embarrassing persistence meet old hurt without losing the jokes. The 2025 British film is especially rewarding if musical companionship and people failing to explain themselves sound inviting.
