Pride (2014)
Movie
Released
The meeting between queer London activists and a Welsh mining community gives every good intention a practical social test. The ensemble's comic timing makes solidarity feel like repeated encounters rather than a slogan. Based on the real support campaign, it shapes events into an accessible, affectionate film without making prejudice disappear on cue.
