Chris Morris makes a small terrorist cell's incompetence horribly funny without allowing the consequences to become imaginary. The regional voices and arguments matter as much as the high-concept premise. This is severe satire about extremism, with deaths and disturbing material; choose it for precisely targeted absurdity rather than reassuring comic company.

About Four Lions
Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce.
