Blue Sisters (2024)

Three surviving sisters return to their childhood home after their sister's death, bringing sharply different ways of coping. The friction between intimacy and estrangement gives the reunion its interest: knowing someone's history is not the same as knowing how to help them now. Mellors makes grief and addiction substantial parts of the story, alongside the fierce recognitions that only siblings can provoke.
