Sea Salt (2019)

Here the monster is a whole moving swarm. You steer Dagon's minions together, choosing when to surround people and when to pull the mass back from danger. It is an overhead action-strategy game rather than an individual creature simulator, but the different unit types give the spreading horror a satisfying collective body. Expect bloody pixel-art revenge.
