The pleasure is committing to a proper race: preparing a car, qualifying and protecting the result around other drivers who have their own plans. Ratings and scheduled competition give clean, repeatable driving a larger purpose. Treat this as a continuing PC sim-racing hobby, with a wheel strongly recommended even though gamepads are supported. Membership includes the rookie content; many later cars and tracks require additional purchases.
