The Posthumous Investigation (2026)

A noir version of 1937 Rio de Janeiro becomes a schedule you learn by following suspects through a repeating day. Brazil's Mother Gaia Studio draws on Machado de Assis, including Brás Cubas, for its satirical detective fiction. The literary borrowing gives this murder investigation a particular voice without requiring you to have read the books; expect lots of dialogue, observation and revisiting earlier assumptions.
