Household care competes with sleep, work and everyone's desire to do something else. The base game lets you raise a family, manage infants' needs and watch relationships develop through ordinary interactions. It is useful for making your own messy family story, with enough absurdity to take the sting out of a bad day. The separate Parenthood pack adds the Parenting skill and character-value systems; budget for that extra if those are the features you want.
