UFO 50 (2024)

Six core developers created the imaginary back catalogue of an eighties game company, complete with recurring ideas, sequels and changing design sensibilities. The 50 playable games are the experiment itself, not bonus diversions around a main campaign. Exploring unfamiliar rules is much of the pleasure: a card game, an adventure and a platformer each demand different commitments, sometimes with deliberately severe retro difficulty.
