Remember Me (2013)

Rewinding and altering someone's remembered experience is an excellent way to make identity into a puzzle. The frustration is how little of the campaign uses that idea: much more time goes into corridor traversal and repeated fights. The 2013 game is worth choosing for its memory-remix scenes and the visual imagination of Neo-Paris, provided you are happy to accept a fairly conventional action framework between its best moments.
