The Last Guardian (2016)

Trico's weight, attention and vulnerability make the relationship with the boy feel unusually physical. Its rewards are strongest for someone invested in caring for an animal-like companion. Patience helps, but it is reasonable to find the interruptions frustrating even when the bond works.
