Alpha Protocol (2010)

An espionage RPG where a rushed reply, an ally's opinion or the order of missions can echo through later encounters is a wonderful proposition. The shooting is a much rougher companion to those conversations, with character statistics complicating what looks like an ordinary action game. Choose the modern GOG release for the updated compatibility and controls, while expecting the original combat design. It rewards people willing to replay a messy mission for a very different conversation.
