Portal 2 (2011)

Portal's clean spatial joke becomes a much richer puzzle language: gels change momentum, bridges carry you through space, and funnels make a portal's direction matter in new ways. A separate two-player campaign turns that understanding into communication. I prefer the sequel's inventiveness, while the first game's compact, lonely escalation remains hard to beat.
