Ori and the Will of the Wisps (2020)

Will of the Wisps keeps Blind Forest's joyful movement but makes fighting part of that pleasure through distinct weapons and Spirit Shard loadouts. Encounters become something to shape rather than chiefly an interruption between jumps. Compared with Blind Forest's Definitive Edition, I prefer this more expressive balance, though the original's concentrated escape sequences have their own appeal.
