Chants of Sennaar makes returning to earlier people part of its argument about communication. For the fuller conclusion, go beyond simply reaching the tower's upper reaches and follow the connections the game lets you repair. That late revisiting has a new linguistic purpose, though it can involve backtracking. I prefer this earned final synthesis to adding another unrelated language just to prolong the climb.
