Disco Elysium: The Final Cut (2021)

This is the longer recommendation for someone who enjoys following an investigation through people, places and digressions. The case gives the conversations a destination, while Final Cut's optional political quests deepen the detective you have made. Some skill checks need revisiting. I value how the story eventually commits to an endpoint while leaving a larger world beyond your reach.
