Ōkami HD (2012)

Amaterasu's Celestial Brush does more than defeat enemies: drawing changes the land, restores life and opens paths. Japanese mythological names, including Orochi and Issun, appear in a lively fictional adventure with a strong comic streak. The pleasure is in making that restorative power work with your own gestures, then seeing a damaged place respond. HD is the practical edition to seek out. It is a long, dialogue-heavy journey, so allow time for its introductions and repeated explanations.
