Mundaun (2021)

An Alpine curse gains force from ordinary tasks, familiar buildings and mountain paths before the uncanny takes over. Michel Ziegler drew on Swiss legends and visits to the Surselva region; the Romansh dialogue helps the place retain its particular voice. Exploring, handling objects and solving puzzles gradually uncovers what happened. Fear can slow your movement, making unease a practical problem as well as an atmosphere. Expect first-person horror and some hostile encounters.
